The simaaritys of my house and the wharepuni; They both are for sleeping in and normily have windows. The differents between wharepuni and my house; My house doesn't have moari carvings on the front, wharepuni has no door.

House or Home
Today I will be blog posting about a photo. This photo was of a marae with a woman and a child. All the maraes were in villages called pa. In the pa there were maraes that were ment for something, kauta where people that cooked. Pataka where they stred goods and whare puni where the Moaori slept. Wharepuni was made out of natural resources.

Kia Ora Lilli-Rose,
ReplyDeleteGood work on your similarities and differences. Isn't it incredible what they carve on the front of Wharepuni's. Imagine if we could carve designs into our homes. What would you carve into yours?
Keep up the great work!
Nga mihi

Hi Lilli-Rose! It's Taleisha! I like how you put what the different whare's are for. I think the carving's on the wharepuna's roof are spectacular! Great job.
