In 1980 when Hairy Maclary had just come out every one was reading it. In the story it would say Out of the gate and off for a walk went Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy… I am going to start my poem with that thenn write more. Here is my poem.
Out of the gate and off for a walk went Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy…
Hairy Maclary hoped of the ferry,
To go for a walk on the street,
Once he got there he dicided to go for a sleep,
So when he woke up,
He found he had nothing to eat,
So Hairy Maclary walked to the dairy,
when he found a penne to go buy some meat,
So that's the story of Hairy Maclary from Donaldson's Dairy.
Activity 2: The Big ‘OE’
After graduation most student's do the big 'OE' (Over Sea's Experience). Most people go to Australia and England But I don't want to go to Astralia because of all the creepy crallys. Here is a Photo of were I want to go on my big OE.
I want to go to Paris because it is beuterful and because I want to try the amazing food.
I also want to go to Sweden because when it's winter I can skii and when it's summer I can enjoy the outside.
Bonus Activity: The 4 O’Clock News
In 1992 Te karere was premiered Te Kerere is News at four. It is normally hosted by Scotty Morrison. And they normally talk with famous people. If I was Scotty Morrison I would inter view Jacinda Ardern because she is our new leader and we want to know more about her.
Kia Ora Lilli-Rose,
ReplyDeleteIt’s wonderful to see that you have been working hard and completing many of the activities in the Summer Learning Journey. Keep up the great work!
I think your story is great! I love how you kept rhyming. The story sounds like something my cat would do, sleep then go and find food. I don’t think he does much else! Have you got any pets at home?
You have picked two great places to visit! Well done for adding photos to your post too! I think Paris would be amazing to visit because of all the history and culture there is. Sweden is also a great choice, it has many well known ski fields! Have you ever had a chance to go skiing? I haven’t but I’m hoping this year I will make it down the Ruapehu so I can learn.
Jacinda Ardern has been a very popular choice for this activity! If I got the chance to interview her I would want to ask what she is going to do to help protect New Zealand’s environment. What particular questions would you ask her if you had the chance?
I look forward to reading more of your blogs soon!
