In the 1970's there was a teliveion show called Ready to Roll. IN Ready to Roll Rodger the host would show music video's and stars would come on and sing a song. I am going to judge these three song preformed on Ready to Roll.
I think that Ray Columbus and the Invaders came first because it was up beat and fun and then Golden harvest came second because it was really good but not as good as number one then New Zealand Underdogs.
Activity 2: Bell Bottom Pants
In the 1970's everyone had there own look. Some people wore dresses and skirts and some people had jeans and a t-shirt. But bell bottom pants everyone wore so here is a bot of writing explaining if I like the 1970's fashion or not. I think that I like the stile in the olden days it looked fashionable. I like bell bottoms as jeans and I love there shoes. But I don't like how they have patterns on there pant's and how girls do there hair.
Hi Lilli-Rose,
ReplyDeleteRuby here from the Summer Learning Journey team! It's great to see that you've been working on these activities. Well done!
Activity 1: Good work! Just being clear you've put Ray Columbus and the Invaders in first place, Golden Harvest in second place, and New Zealand Underdogs in third place? The way you have worded your post made it a little bit confusing!
Activity 2: Good work! I agree that bell bottoms aren't too bad but the hair styles needed some work! Patterned pants are still around today but they're quite different from the pants people were wearing in the 70s. Do you think that modern patterned pants are okay?
I look forward to reading more of your blog and hearing some of your thoughts!
Cheers,
Ruby.
