Week four Day 3: Social Systems

Activity 1: Mixed-Member Proportional (MMP)
In 1996 three party came together to create a ‘coalition government’ if I was able to vote them I think I would of chosen. Labour because this year they won and they are very reliable.

Activity 2: Migration
Today on the summer learning journey we are learning about migration. Did you know 72,000 have migrated to New Zealand. Also Labour is going to make kiwi's have jobs instead of people from other countries taking them. Here is a photo of my home town, Paihia then I will say three things that tourists could do.
You could go mountain biking,
you could go for a walk on the beach,
Or you could go to the Waitangi treaty grounds

Bonus Activity: Modern Learning Environments
Today we are taking about the modern Learning Environments. Did you know that in my school we have been doing it. Here is a drawing of my class room if I designed it.

  1. Kia Ora Lilli-Rose,

It's Georgia here from the Summer Learning Journey. Now that the programme has officially eneded, this week I am going through all of the students blogs and calculating points for top bloggers! I've really enjoyed reading through all of your blog posts and seeing the comments you and your friends have made to each other. It's great to see you encouraging and supporting your school friends. Ka pai!

I hope you've had a lovely holiday and are looking forward to school. I'll be visiting your school in the next few weeks to celebrate all of the kids who were involved in the Summer Learning Journey this summer. So I look forward to seeing you soon!

    Nga mihi
    Georgia
